'Assassination Classroom' Movie Gets a Runtime; Successful Series’ Creator Has No Plans Next [VIDEO]
ByNow that the hit and heartfelt manga and anime series "Assassination Classroom" has concluded, its creator Yusei Matsui reveals he has no plans to create another hit and will just wait for inspiration to hit him.
"Assassination Classroom" is a hit not only in its home country Japan, but also worldwide. At the New York Comic Con, Matsui got a chance to reveal the inspiration for his character Koro Sensei, which he said was loosely based on "The Minions" and "The Simpsons'" yellow characters, and that he has absolutely no plans on what to do next, IGN reported. Matsui said he would like to clear his head, do nothing, and wait for inspiration to come.
Meanwhile, the highly awaited "Assassination Classroom the Movie: 365 Days' Time" gets a running time of 92 minutes and will premiere on November 19, 2016, Crunchyroll reported. The plot this time will be based on the final chapter of the manga and will center seven years after the climax of the series. It is said something will go down before the class reunion.
The series revolved around a story of a yellow alien creature named Koro Sensei who is set to destroy the planet in 365 days unless a group of human assassins destroy him. These human assassins are the hopeless and clueless junior high school students of class 3-E.
Koro Sensei, who is responsible for the crescent shape of the moon and who can move at the speed of a Mach 20, taught them how to become assassins by learning sorcery and swordsmanship and they only have until graduation to stop him.
The unlikely bond between the students and the yellow-tentacled alien octopus forms, as the history of the strange sensei is revealed day by day, eventually living the students at par whether to assassinate their teacher or not.
