Something in a bright lime green is waiting for Nintendo fans. The Lime Green New Nintendo 3DS XL has finally come, and it is exclusively available only on Amazon. The $200 bundle includes a pre-installed copy of the SNES game "Super Mario World." The normal price for this Virtual Console game is $8.
This product is an online-only variant of Nintendo's flagship portable devices and its lime green color is truly attractive to customers. The reason why the New Nintendo 3DS XL comes in a lime green color is mainly because of Mario's green dinosaur buddy T. Yoshisaur Munchakoopas. However, it is not exactly as green as Yoshi, Polygon reported.
The pre-installed game of this Amazon-exclusive hardware is what makes it fascinating. The pre-installed copy of the "Super Mario World" can only be played on the New Nintendo 3DS hardware, and it costs $7.99 in Nintendo's 3DS eShop. It is also available in Amazon Canada for CDN$239.99.
Although this portable gaming console may allow all Nintendo DS games to be plated on it, the Nintendo DS games do not, however, come in 3D format. Its AC adapter can be bought separately, yet it uses the same AC adapter for the Nintendo DSi, 3DS, and 2DS consoles, Game Spot reported.
On the other hand, a new hardware has been released by Nintendo earlier this week, which is the Nintendo Switch. This console/mobile hybrid can be played both at home and while the player is on-the-go. The price is not yet announced, but the device is confirmed to be made available on March 2017.
The Nintendo Switch has a unique Switch control system, which can support a regular controller for home use and for on-the-go usage. Nintendo has not yet released a statement whether this unique Switch controller will be included in the package, instead of having it sold separately.
