Leaked renders of Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro have been spotted in Geekbench, featuring a 6.0-inch screen with AMOLED display and a presumed 16MP camera. As a premium Samsung handset, could it be possible that the Galaxy C9 Pro run the latest Android 7.0 Nougat?

Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro Leaked Specs

Though its small brother, the Galaxy C9, has already been certified in the United States and China and also benchmarked in GFXBench and Geekbench, Galaxy C9 Pro has been discovered just recently from China's Weibo site, Phone Arena reported.

The leaked renders showed a Galaxy C9 Pro with 6.0-inch screen with AMOLED display, sporting screen resolution of 1080 pixels. The phone is said to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset backed by 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage powered by a 4000 mAh battery.

Furthermore, Galaxy C9 Pro has a premium camera spec which is 16MP for the rear-facing. The front-facing sensor is also believed to sport the same resolution with f/1.9 aperture. In addition, Galaxy C9 Pro is also perceived to come with a fingerprint scanner embedded into the physical button.

Moreover, Galaxy C9 Pro is said to run the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. This is to contradict the assumptions of others who are expecting that the premium handset will run the Android 7.0 Nougat.

Samsung is slated to launch Galaxy C9 Pro on Oct. 21 and will exclusively be distributed in China for 3199 Yuan or $475. The phone is said to be the most premium handset under the Samsung's Galaxy C-series, according to Android Headlines.

Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro Competitors

Though the details about Galaxy C9 Pro features are limited, it is already assumed that the phone will be the toughest competitor of Google Pixel XL due to specs similarity. However, when it comes to camera features, Galaxy C9 Pro is said to be at par with the high-caliber iPhone 7.
