'Tekken 7' Release Date: Miguel's Come-Back Confirmed! [VIDEO] 'Tales Of Berseria' Collector's Edition Out in 2017, Lei Wulong DLC Character?
By"Tekken 7" is set to feature the return of Miguel as announced by Bandai Namco.
While it is not clear if Miguel's character will be similar way he was previously introduced, reports suggest the same backstory and personality. Meantime, there are also speculations that the game developer is coming out with "Tales of Berseria" as additional surprise for the fans.
Following the release of "Tekken 7," the developers had reportedly been busy fixing all the long time issues that confront the game's performance and balance. Although majority of fans have been pleased with the state of the game in its entirety, some complaints have been noted with the current content; however, with the recent revelation of Miguel's possible comeback, fans had a new reason to look forward to for the game.
Meanwhile, "Tekken 7" fans are in for more surprise as Bandai Namco prepares the special collector's edition of "Tales of Berseria," which is scheduled to be released in early 2017. According to reports, fans who want to get the package may have the chance to do so beginning on Jan. 27. However, the collector's edition is reported to come in limited numbers, which means that those who are interested must hurry and reserve their copies.
Aside from the game itself, fans may also get mini figures, a special mini case, a disc with selected audio tracks and a special keychain. Some exclusive trading cards and an art book are also expected to come with the title, Polygon reported.
In other news, "Tekken 7" expansion editions for Xbox One, the PC and PS4 have not been announced yet, but rumors claim that Bandai Namco is planning the DLCs for the game. Aside from that, reports also indicate that a new character will be added to the roster - Hongkong cop Lei Wulong. However, the fighting cop is unlikely included in the initial list of fighters in the game due to the fact that the character's usage rate in previous franchise iterations is noted to be too low.
