Early education is important. And when a celebrity like Jennifer Garner calls out for all parents to remember that, the industry listens.
Jennifer Garner is known for her roles in movies and television such as her work in 'Dallas Buyers Club', '13 Going On 30' and 'Catch Me If You Can' with Leonardo DiCaprio. But at this point in time, her charity works overshadow her film and television success. She is described to be a rare kind of actress that devote her time, money and celebrity resources to pursue a charitable cause.
Jennifer Garner is showing everyone that she is not your typical celebrity, describes Romper. This 44 year old mom is busy working with the brands Huggies and Baby2Baby to raise awareness about the things their children needs. On top of her list is the diaper needs of the United States. There are moms out there who can not afford diapers at all.
There is one in every three moms who would choose between feeding her baby and putting a diaper on her baby, according to statistics. That shows how much moms around the country are trying to make ends meet. And the babies suffer because of it. Which is why she is dedicating her time and resources to provide diapers to these moms.
Since Food Stamps and other programs do not cover diapers, Garner is promoting Baby2Baby. Baby2Baby is an organization that provides diapers to moms who can not afford them. She targets low-income families and hopes that it will alleviate the financial struggles of new moms everywhere.
As a mom herself, she knows how important it is to provide the essentials. She is also working with Save The Children - an organization devoted to the kids of today. Jennifer Garner is a member on the Board of Trustees in that organization. Aside from her diaper donations, she is also a huge activist for early education. She encourages parents to talk, sing, play and read to their babies.
In addition, she and other activists are fighting for the universal pre-K education. Until now, Jennifer Garner continues to work with these organizations and ensures the educational programs she supports are funded.
