MacBook Pro 2016 Price
MacBook Pro 2016 is rumored to come in two sizes, the 13-inch and 15-inch, wherein the smaller one will also come with a Retina display. According to Apple Insider, the price structures of the new MacBook are likely to be in line to their predecessors - $1099 for the non-retina 13-inch and $1,199 for the model with retina display while $2099 for the 15-inch model with 2.5 GHz speed.
MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date
The completely revamped 13-inch and 15-inch models of MacBook Pro 2016 are expected to be unveiled on Oct. 27, during the presumed Apple Event. On the other hand, the release date is likely to fall at the end of 2016 or first quarter of 2017.
Internal Expectations
Full refreshed internal configurations are expected to land on MacBook Pro 2016, as Apple is likely to utilize Intel Skylake chipsets for the processor compared to previous MacBook that runs on Broadwell chips. According to Mac Rumors, with Intel Skylake, the new mac is expected to have a 20 percent increase in performance compared to previous ones.
External Features
Cutting optical disk drives and removal of headphone jack has led to a thinner and lighter version of MacBook Pro 2016. The future models of MacBook, including the 2016 flagship, are said to feature a hinge called metal injection mold-made (MiM) to make the laptop thinner but sturdy.
Touch ID functionality is also rumored to be included in the new MacBook. This fingerprint technology will enable the user to make an automatic login to the device without having to enter the password. The sensor next to the OLED bar will do the fingerprint scanning.
