The producer of world's most attractive smartphones is reported to be launching another flagship for 2016 - the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. According to speculations, the phone can be the best alternative for the Galaxy Note 7 because of its curve-edged display or can substitute iPhone 7 for its camera features.

Xiaomi Mi Note 2, with the presumed Mi Note 2 Pro, is expected to hit the store shelves before the end of 2016, bearing the following rumored features and specs:

Display

The two phablets are said to take on Samsung Galaxy Note 7 because of the device's display features with 1920 x 1080 pixels, alongside a premium version of 2560 x 1440 pixels. According to Digital Trends, the two phablets will be sporting a dual curved display screen that appears to be a new technology on smartphones.

Design

Bodies of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note 2 phablets are rumored to be wrapped with metal, glass and ceramic back, similar to the gorgeous Mi 5.

Camera

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 phablets have camera specs similar to iPhone 7. The dual-lens rear-facing camera of the device will be sporting a 13MP sensor with LED flash, Android Headlines reported.

Performance

In reference to the camera specs, rumor has it that a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor may run the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 phablets. The Mi Note 2 Pro as the top-model is speculated to come with an 8GB of RAM alongside 256GB of internal storage; however, the said details was slammed by Chinese publication Toutiao, saying that both phablets will run on Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage capacity.

Xiaomi has not mentioned any specific release date for Mi Note 2 phablets. Prices start at $375 for the Mi Note 2 and $450 for the presumed high-end Mi Note 2 Pro.
