ByApple has been on a roll this year after launching the highly anticipated iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, but the company continues to remain mum about the equally anticipated MacBook Pro 2016.
There are some rumors swirling up which suggest that the Cupertino-based tech giant is gearing up for a press conference this month. Rumors are rife that Apple will unveil several updated products in the Mac lineup, with the redesigned MacBook Pro taking the center stage. The much-awaited laptop will sport a secondary touchscreen display.
The speculations hinting an imminent MacBook Pro 2016 release date was fueled by a Reddit user named 'Foxconninsider.'
According to the said Redditor, Apple's main manufacturing partner Foxconn hosted a classified event at Tsinghua University. The representatives of the company unveiled prototypes of two unreleased products from Apple during the event.
The first unreleased product was the New MacBook Keyboard module, which is expected to be part of the imminent MacBook Pro 2016. This OLED function key panel is trotted out as one of the most exciting features of a laptop seen in years.
Aside from this new OLED panel, the Redittor claims a second new Apple device is in the works, BGR reported.
Rumors are rife that the device in question is an early prototype of a next-gen magic keyboard. The current Magic keyboard from Apple is simply a wireless keyboard that most of the users are already familiar at the moment.
The rumored next gen magic keyboard is likely to boast an array of exciting technology features which will revolutionize the way people use their Mac computers. The next gen keyboard is said to feature an individual E Ink display on each key. This will alter the graphics linked to a specific key or a group of keys in a personalized manner or based on the application currently in use.
Foxconninsider also claims that Apple has collaborated with a start-up in bid to work on keyboard. Moreover, the company is set to acquire this startup named Sonder.
