It was widely known that Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones debuted earlier this month. Google is now using a popup on their own homepage to urge individuals to pre-order the smartphones.

The notification regarding the Google Pixel and Pixel XL pre-order is popping up at the bottom of the screen on both mobile and desktop platforms. If a person taps the Yes Please button, that person will go right to the Made By Google site.

From there, it's just one click away to the Google Store where the Pixel device is mostly sold out. The ad doesn't pop up all the time though, but it's fairly widespread, according to Android Police.

This isn't the first time that the tech company has advertised something on the homepage. Google Allo (smart messaging app) and Google Duo (video calling app) both got small text links in several past Android devices.

The Pixel and Pixel XL devices are already up for pre-order in the United States, UK, Australia, Canada, India and Germany. While the pre-ordered smartphones were expected to start shipping out by the end of October in most of the countries, it seems like the pre-ordered Pixel devices have already started shipping out to consumers.

Multiple users in Australia, who pre-ordered their Pixel from Telstra, are now claiming that their orders have started shipping out, while some are reporting that they already have their pre-ordered Pixel smartphone in their possession, Android Headlines reported.

Meanwhile, Pixel smartphone comes with a 5-inch 1080p and a 2770mAh battery while the Pixel XL has a 5.5-inch Quad High Definition (QHD) display with a 3450mAh battery. Otherwise, the two Google smartphones share the same specs, which include Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB RAM, and a 32GB or 128GB storage variants.
