Released from his Night Watch vows, newly installed King in the North Jon Snow can now pursue anyone he wants.
Rumors are circulating that a brand new love interest might be in the offing for Jon Snow (Kit Harington) in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. Said rumors started when fans and followers of the show saw a picture of a new girl in costume included among the set of photos published by the Daily Mail. The caption of the photo identified the girl as a body double for Sophie Turner who plays Sansa Stark.
The report was convincing enough since she wore the same style as what the character Sansa would wear. That was until another photo of her was uploaded on Twitter by the same photographer seen being outfitted with a sword belt. "Game of Thrones" followers know Sansa doesn't do swords. She was identified by a Watcher of the Wall commenter named Darkstar as 19-year-old actress Megan Parkinson.
Last June, casting notices sent out for "Game of Thrones" Season 7 included a need for two Northern characters, one 16-year-old girl, and a 10-year-old boy. Both parts are said to be included in high-stake scenes with leading cast members. A picture of a boy in costume was also snapped and uploaded on Twitter.
Constrained by his vows with the Night Watch, Jon Snow (Harington) did not have much in the love department aside from the wildling Ygritte (Rose Leslie) who made him break those vows and eventually falling for her. Freed from his vows in his new life after being slain and eventually revived by Lady Melisandre, the King in the North is free to love (or bed) anyone he wants.
So is Jon Snow going to find love again in "Game of Thrones" Season 7? House Stark has been saying all along "Winter is coming!" The King in the North does deserve some warmth.
