Apple will celebrate its 10th iPhone Anniversary in 2017, and it is expected from them to launch a new iPhone packed with updated design and new technology. For this reason, leaked images from Forbes, showing a presumed iPhone 8 comprises of new design and technology, have been surfacing the internet.
What to Expect from iPhone 8?
The recent negotiation between Apple and Sharp, regarding the latter's supply of OLED panels to Apple, has led to a speculation that the presumed iPhone 8 will feature an edge-to-edge OLED display screen. For this reason, the new iPhone may come out as a bezel-less phone, BGR reported.
Aside from the display screen, the leaked images of iPhone 8 show a virtual home button replacing the physical one. In addition, the new iPhone is expected to feature wireless charging and is rumored to have removed the audio jack that would eventually lessen the size of the phone and its successors as well.
Meanwhile, the Touch ID sensor is likely to be retained in the new iPhone. As a matter of fact, Apple has been working on a new patent that could incorporate the Touch ID sensor within the screen display through the use of capacitive fingerprint sensor with electrostatic lens.
No further details about iPhone 8's specs have been leaked; however, speculations suggest that Apple's anniversary phone will feature a radical change on both external and internal aspects.
