After being fortunate enough to have his probation extended by a judge and again for his teammates to vote him back on the team, LSU running back Jeremy Hill might even see the field Saturday against TCU, the Associated Press reported.

Head football coach of the LSU Tigers Les Miles addressed the media Monday and said Hill, the team's leading rusher from last year "is going to sustain discipline."

"We said earlier that ... he would be withheld from play," Miles said. "That's going to take place. Our discipline will be internal at this point, and I don't think we have much further to say."

The impending discipline stems from his April arrest for punching another LSU student outside a bar. Hill had already been on probation for pleading guilty in 2012 to carnal knowledge of a minor, when he had a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old.

Hill pleaded guilty to simple battery in July.

In early August, Judge Bonnie Jackson ruled in Hill's favor and extended his probation and sentenced him to 50 hours of community service, when she could have sent the young tail back to prison for six months.

Miles was non-committal on whether or not Hill would travel to Dallas for the season opener Saturday against the 20th-ranked TCU Horned Frogs. Although Miles said Hill could travel to the game, it does not mean he will play for the 20th-ranked Tigers.

"We're not going to comment on that at this point, but I wouldn't be surprised that he would be on our trip," the coach said of his running back's travel status for Saturday. "Again, the discipline will be internal, (it) will be something that we will deal with as a team. No further comment."

After the Judge Jackson decided not to sent the 20-year-old Hill to jail, Miles previously stated he would remain suspended indefinitely. However, shortly after, Miles said he allowed the team to vote on whether or not to reinstate Hill and he was practicing again with the team that day.
