‘Pokémon Go' Update, Tips, News: Niantic Adds New Catch Bonuses to the Famous Game [VIDEO]
ByFor "Pokemon Go" players who are still trying to catch 'em all, video game developer Niantic announced a new capture bonus, which a player can collect when earning medals for snatching certain types of Pokemon.
In the blog post of Niantic, it stated that they are adding a new feature into the game, which grants a catch bonus when a "Pokemon Go" gamer earn medals based on catching Kindler, Psychic, Gardener, to name a few.
Niantic's blog post also stated that these new bonuses will give players a better chance of capturing Pokémon creatures with a related type. For instance, as a player reaches a higher tier for the Kindler Medal, their bonus in catching Fire-type Pokémon like Ponyta, Charmander and Vulpix increases.
"Pokemon Go" trainers can make a progress into a new tier by catching a number of the same type of Pokemon. If a monster has multiple types, a player's bonus amounts to the average of their bonuses for each type, according to PC Mag.
However, this transition of "Pokemon Go" won't dramatically change the way low-level grinding works, but it helps make that repetitive task of catching Pigeys and Rattatas a little more interesting, based on the report of Mobile Syrup.
Anyway, the software development company Niantic, definitely understood that "Pokemon Go" is getting all kinds of improvements. The developer made it known that "Pokemon Go" Gym training is about to get easier for trainers of all levels. When training at a friendly Gym, a player will be able to take six Pokemon to battle instead of one, Touch Arcade reported.
The previous improvement of "Pokemon Go" was Pokemon Go Plus, a Bluetooth bracelet that notifies events in the game.
That being said, the augmented reality game rolled out to an additional 31 countries, which include Mozambique, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Mauritius, South Africa, Kenya, Zambia, as well as Tanzania and Uganda.
