"Thor: Ragnarok" is currently in production in Australia, and new names are popping up in association with the film. Among the actors being attached to the film is "Jurassic Park" actor Sam Neill.

Neill revealed his participation in the third "Thor" movie during an interview with ShortList. He revealed that he has filmed some of his scenes for the film.

"I'm not really allowed to say this and I can't tell you what it is...I did a couple of days on Thor just before I came over here," Neill disclosed. However, the actor kept quiet about the top secret character he was portraying.

"If I say anything else, Marvel's secret agents-and they are lethal-will come and get me and probably my children, as well," the actor joked.

Taking cues from his statement, some speculate that he's going to make a brief cameo or a voice over; however, the bigger theory is that he's been enlisted to play one of the Elders of the Universe.

Some of the Elders previously made appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Benicio del Toro was the first Elder to make it to the big screen when he played the Collector in "Guardians of the Galaxy" while Kurt Russell is going to appear in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" as Ego - another Elder.

The Hollywood Reporter notes that Jeff Goldblum has been cast in "Thor: Ragnarok" as the Grandmaster, also an Elder who likes to gamble.

Neill fits the "60-something actor known for 1980s and '90s roles in cult and/or blockbuster movies beloved by the nerd audience" description required for Elders casting. If ever he does turn out to be an Elder, which one would he be?

There's a chance he could play the Trader, who is a master manipulator and he could strike up a deal that might make or break Thor's battle. The Possessor is also a worthy contender. He's an elder who believes that the mystical object called Runestaff is the key to all the knowledge in the universe.

"Thor: Ragnarok" stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Karl Urban, Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba, Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum and Tessa Thompson.

"Thor: Ragnarok" will hit theaters on Nov. 3, 2017.
