Slated to be released later this year, the imminent series is said to feature upgraded first generation pocket monsters along with a slew of new characters.
The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" release date is just around the corner, and the upcoming 3DS games will show Ash in an all-new look while the first-generation pocket monsters undergo a radical upgrade adding brand new skills to their armory.
Previously rolled out trailers for "Pokemon Sun and Moon" series show Ash travelling to Alola, the main setting of the game, to study. There, Ash bumps into Professor Kukui and his classmates including Kukui's assistant, Lillie and the game's Trial Captains Sophocles, Lana and Mallow.
While Pikachu will gear itself with a new, highly effective attack dubbed, Catastropika, Eevee will use Extreme Eveboost, which enables it to borrow different powers from its unrealized evolution. The new trailer also gives us a glimpse of an Alolan counterpart of Raticate.
The highly anticipated series will boast a couple of never-before-seen ape inspired monsters including the Oranguru and the Passimian. The Oranguru dwells in the Alolan forest and the Passimian is a fighting type. Some of the first-generation Pokemon have been upgraded as well. They are now geared with a new technique dubbed, Z-Moves, Wired reported.
Meanwhile, a new batch of names has just surfaced online, revealing 7 new Pokemon including: Drampa, Togedemaru, Vikavolt, Cutiefly, Bruxish, Charjabug and Tapu Koko, according to reports on Nseavoice.
