Nvidia has been the pioneer in GPU architecture since 1996 and the fans highly anticipate the release of GTX 1080 Ti powerhouse. Based on the leaks, GTX 1080 Ti is expected to get the same power as the GTX Titan X - the GP102 processor.
A list of specifications which could appear to be the GTX 1080 Ti specs have been leaked a few weeks ago, as reported by Wccftech. It will feature 3328 CUDA cores with 208 texture mapping units. The base clock gets 1502 MHz and it packs a whopping memory of 12GB GDDR5X.

With the beast specs that is considered on par with Titan X power, it will not be a surprise to hear the pricepoint that Nvidia could offer. The gaming card might sit between $630 and $1,200 - the pricepoint of GTX 1080 and Titan X. It will likely cost $799 or higher.

While consumers have already speculated the specs, the question to ask would be when is the GTX 1080 Ti release date? There is no word from Nvidia regarding the graphics card launch but many rumors point out CES event - a world class tech exhibition that takes place in Las Vegas on January 5th, 2017.
It is also reported that Jen-Hsun Huang, Nvidia CEO, will address the keynote speech. What could he be talking about? We should expect a huge announcement as the CEO himself will be making a speech. Fans should also expect to see a fierce competition as AMD is also rumored to release Polaris-based graphics card by the end of year.
