Nvidia is expected to unveil GTX 1050 soon and there have been many rants circulating through the web - whether or not, the affordable graphics card can meet the gamers' needs.

Nvidia GTX 1050 leaked specs

The Geforce GTX 1050 is said to feature 768 CUDA cores. The clock speed is at 1318 MHz with 1380 MHz boost clock. The leak also claims that GTX 1050 will sport 4GB GDDR5 memory.

Nvidia GTX 1050 pricetag

Many rumors have quickly assumed that the affordable GTX 1050 means it could have a pricetag of an entry level graphics card at around $150.

It is obvious that Nvidia lowered down the prices since it needs to compete with AMD Polaris-based graphics card. And this is probably what the gamers are waiting for - an affordable card.

The Pascal based card performance, however, is doubted by the gaming community.

This is because with the price of $150, GTX 1050 is just around $30 cheaper than the RX 470. And the fact that it is just 'an overclocked GTX 950' makes the matter worse. Furthermore, by adding extra $50, gamers could likely choose GTX 1060 or RX 480 instead.

The GTX 1050 launch rumor, as reported by WccfTech, stated that the card will likely belong in the same class with RX 470 that costs $179. However, many gamers have their own speculations, saying that the performance might not be as great as the RX 470 in every corner. And to think that both cards will get similar performance is considered pointless.

Nvidia GTX 1050 release date is in October?

The graphics card which is designed for gaming community is said to be launched in October, with possible date range from 24th to 28th.
