Lenovo K5 Note vs Motorola Moto G4 Plus: Design and display

The K5 Note and Moto G4 Plus sport the same 5.5 inch screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and 401 ppi pixel density. The dual-SIM phones get fingerprint scanner - G4 Plus has it on the front panel whilst the K5 Note has the scanner located at the back panel.

K5 Note offers a sleeker design with its all-metal body. Moto G4 Plus is encased with plastic body but the screen already packs Gorilla Glass 4, GSM Arena wrote.

As far as the size is concerned, K5 Note is 1.3 mm thinner than Motorola's handset but 10 grams heavier. Lenovo's handset feels more comfortable to carry.

Moving on under the hood, K5 Not runs Android Lollipop whilst Moto G4 Plus already tastes Marshmallow. Both gets octa-core CPU - K5 Note is powered by Helio P10 whilst G4 Plus uses Snapdragon 617 chipset.

Motorola offers more storage variants than Lenovo's.

Moto G4 Plus internal storage: 16 GB - 2 GB RAM, 32 GB - 3 GB RAM, 64 GB - 4 GB RAM.

K5 Note internal storage: 32 GB - 3GB RAM, 32 GB - 4 GB RAM

K5 Note does not get a dedicated slot for memory expansion as it's a hybrid phone. Meanwhile, Moto G4 Plus with the many options still comes with expandable memory in a dedicated slot.

For the rear camera, Moto G4 Plus sports 16 MP shooter whilst K5 Note gets 13 MP shooter. Both features dual LED Flash and phase detection autofocus but Moto G4 Plus seems to focus faster than the K5 Note's camera although K5 Note camera offers better image clarity.

For the selfie shooter, Moto G4 Plus packs 5 MP camera that features auto-HDR. K5 Note selfie shooter does not get such feature but it has higher lens quality - 8 MP. In terms of multimedia, K5 Note supports Dolby Atmos for better audio quality.

Motorola equips Moto G4 Plus with non-removable 3,000 mAh battery with fast-charging feature. K5 Note is lacking of turbo-charging feature but it packs larger capacity with its 3,500 mAh battery.

K5 Note is priced at around $179. Moto G4 Plus is priced at around $201.

Both smartphone are suitable for common users who don't wish to play heavy graphics game on their phones since they are not packed with excellent specifications for that. The K5 Note is obviously a better value for money as it excels at performance, specs and price.
