The second part of the "Injustice" series, under Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, DC Comics, and NetherRealm Studios, is now set for release and dated for the first quarter in 2017.

The superhero fighting game, which does not only exclusively feature superheroes but also villains, already has its part two done and is now ready for release. It follows the first game, "Injustice: Gods Among Us". Produced by Adam Urbano and directed by "Mortal Kombat" creator, Ed Boon, the game was announced on June 8th this year. It was scheduled for a 2017 release and will be available in mobile, the same with the " Injutice: Gods Among Us", according to The Reporter Times.

As stated by Warner Bros., "Injustice 2" will have all new heroes and villains from DC Universe in addition to the old ones. Old characters which will once again come to the game include Batman, The Flash, Aquaman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and the "Suicide Squad" fan favorite, Harley Quinn.

On the other hand, new characters that will be introduced to the "Injustice" series are: Gorilla Grodd, Supergirl, Atrocitus, Blue Beetle, and Deadshot. Ed Boon, the "Injustice 2" director and "Mortal Kombat" creator, said that there are heroes which are getting high preference but most likely will not make it. The list includes Starfire, Beast Boy, Jonah Hex, and Red Hood.

On other news, a new "Injustice" collectible has been revealed by IGN. The action figure which would be the first "Injustice 2" collectible is none other than the "Suicide Squad" fan favorite, Harley Quinn. The statue revealed by DC collectibles was called "HARLEY QUINN: RED, WHITE and BLACK" .

The toy stands at 7.75" tall and will cost $80.00 when it goes out in the market in April 2017. Harley Quinn's statue wears her "Insurgency" costume which is a black and red suit with a Batman logo at the back. Many movie fans ask why she has a Batman logo in her costume, it can be recalled that during the "Insurgency", Batman and Superman fought against each other. Harley and Batman had an 'enemy of my enemy' kind of thing which led to Harley Quinn siding with Batman.

"Injustice 2" is coming to Android, iOS, PS4, and Xbox One on the first quarter of 2017 .
