Pokemon Generations Episode 1, Episode 2 Titled 'The Adventure' And 'The Chase' Respectively Debuts For Free On YouTube [VIDEO]
ByPokemon fans, rejoice! Pokemon Generations is finally here to make all your nostalgic dreams a reality.
The Pokemon Generations anime has just been announced by The Pokemon Company as a series of animated shots that will be released on YouTube. The best part? Pokemon fanatics do not even need to dole out some money to watch it.
Every week starting Friday, September 16, you can delve into a new Pokemon adventure that unfolds a never-been-told-before story from each generation of games from the Pokemon franchise released since 1996.
The Pokemon Company has released the first two videos in the new Pokemon Generations series on YouTube as part of a celebration of the globally acclaimed franchise's 20-year history.
Watch episode one titled, "The Adventure," below - and ensure you're in a place where it's not awkward to fist pump.
That's simply because the three-minute premiere episode is an apt summarization of the complete Pokemon franchise - from the Kanto region of the Game Boy games to the current generation of games, "Pokemon X and Y."
Viewers are likely to be startled in the first minute of "The Adventure" as they realize how familiar it is to those with doting memories of Pokemon Red, but as soon as it kicks off, the episode turns out to be a Pikachu-led journey through some of the most awe-inspiring sights of each mainline game, Polygon reported.
Episode two, on the other hand, centers on one of the latest addition to the franchise's cast. Dubbed as "The Chase," episode two introduces Detective Looker, who is tracking down the leader of Team Rocket, Giovanni, according to reports on VentureBeat.
Detective Looker's team tracks Giovanni to a gym, where the wild-goose chase kicks off.
No doubt, this is a perfect way to blend old-school games with the current generation, although the story wraps up in just four minutes.
