The "One Piece Film Gold" just earned an overhwelming amount from the box office in Japan. To celebrate the success, the movie will have a special screening to be attended by the people behing the sucessful ani-movie.

Just a few weeks after the release of the movie, "One Piece Film Gold" earned about 48.8 million US dollars. In just 48 days after the release, the movie already earned 3,757,181 views. The film's record was an all-time high score in Japanese theaters, according to The Onepieace Podcast.

Ever since the beginning of the "One Piece" franchise, the series and its movies have been earning millions. In total, the franchise has 13 movies and earned a total of 292 million US dollars. Even the manga version of the series has been earning a lot which is the main reason why the franchise has been extended for a very long time already.

In line with the big success of the "One Piece Film Gold", a special screening was scheduled. The event would be attended by the creators of the "One Piece" film whihc includes Hiroaki Miyamoto, the director of the film; Tsutomo Kuroiwa, the writer; and Hiroyuki Sakurada, the films producer. The purpose of the said event was to hold a discussion on topics regarding the movie, Anime News Network reported.

To encourage fun during the event, glowsticks, yelling, and even cosplaying is allowed. The event would also talk about anectodes and behing-the-scenes. Furthermore, there will be talks with regards to the original creator and executive producer of "One Piece", Eiichiro Oda.

The event would be held on September 22, 2016 at the Marunouchi Toei in Tokyo, Japan. Tickets for the "Golden Banquet" is already available at Ticketpia. Pre-reservations can be availed until September 16 while general sales will be available on September 17 to 21. The 'banquet' will start at 6 pm.
