Bandai Namco Entertainment's "Tekken 7" would feature exclusive features for the PlayStation 4, as well as PS VR support, which is reported to be absent on the PC version despite capabilities of supporting VR.

"Tekken 7" is coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, as well as the PC gaming platform, but it is not without disappointing some of the gaming community, Game Rant reported.

The announcement is somewhat quite indirect, but it has come from Katsuhiro Harada himself in a tweet. Despite the game being slated to be released across three gaming platforms, it has been not without its fair share of controversy.

Fans of the game had voiced out their concerns over exclusivity of some speculated features, and it seems Harada has heeded their concerns. Fans have expressed that the exclusive PlayStation VR content is a form of "disrespect to PC."

In response, the director at Bandai Namco Entertainment, had slyly dodged the accusation by turning the table around. Harada had stated that the exclusive 4K feature for the PC is disrespectful to "loyal PlayStation Tekken fans."

Bandai Namco had released the arcade version of the game across Japan, as well as select cities in the United States, and in a couple of months time, it would be made available on the PS4, Xbox One, and the PC.

A handful of features have been revealed to be absent from the arcade version, and as how events have revealed themselves, there is still an ever-present barrier between gamers from different platforms, according to Upload VR.

While the Xbox One gaming community has little news other than the release of the game onto the aforementioned console, PC and the PlayStation gaming community are torn between features that are only available to one platform.

The dispute roots from the inert capability of both platforms to provide such features; though arguably, 4K on the PS4 has always been an issue.

Nonetheless, gamers would have to set aside nitpicking to fully enjoy the fighting game. The PC version of "Tekken 7" would have 4K content, which could very well display it at 60 fps, while PlayStation gamers would have exclusive PS4 content, along with the PlayStation VR support.

The exclusive features expected to come to the PlayStation 4 may be largely due to Sony's deal with Bandai Namco.
