Chinese hacker team, Pangu, does not release any new jailbreaking tool for iOS 9; this is probably because the team is currently working on the iOS 10 jailbreak.

Pangu is currently working on iOS 10 jailbreak?

Apple device users are waiting for iOS 10 roll out on September 13 but the jailbreaker fans highly expect the Chinese hacking team to also release the jailbreaking tool for the new OS. Pangu demonstrated security issue in iOS 10 beta a few months ago at MOSEC. This means that the team has already learned their way to jailbreak the operating system that has yet to be launched for public users.

For the record, iOS 10 jailbreak beta 8 has been demonstrated by Italian hacker Luca Tudesco. However, the fans are disappointed since he does not plan to release the software for public download.

iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak Pangu

Apple previously released the latest patch, iOS 9.3.5, which makes Pangu's newest jailbreaking tool for iOS 9 useless. RedmondPie reported that users who 'care about jailbreak' should not update the iOS to iOS 9.3.5 if they do not want the device to get affected. However, if users are not planning to use the jailbreak solution, they are encouraged to update the OS to the latest version for more essential securities.

iOS 10 jailbreak Pangu release date

For those planning to break the Apple restriction in their iOS 10 device; they should wait for Pangu's jailbreaking tool. Looking at the previous release schedules, Pangu usually launches the tool a few weeks after a major iOS upgrade is rolled out by Apple.

Hence, the fans should anticipate the iOS 10 jailbreak tool in a matter of weeks after the OS is officially released for public. Hopefully, in the first week of October.
