Looks like a good news for avid "RDR" fans as the hit western action-adventure game is being remastered for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Reports are arriving from Korea (via Korean game site GameFocus) indicating that "Red Dead Redemption" remastered will be announced on Tuesday, September 6. This piece of information, however, is a little surprising considering that "RDR" was made backward compatible for Xbox One not too long ago. Nevertheless, this will be the first time PC and PS4 gamers will be able to play this classic title.

Sony is reportedly gearing up to host a PlayStation Meeting on Wednesday, September 7 where Rockstar is likely to make an appearance. Rumors are rife about Rockstar coming to PlayStation Meeting to unveil "Red Dead Redemption 2" a.k.a. "Red Dead 3."

Although Sony denied it, earlier reports hinted that "Red Dead Redemption" was slated to be announced at E3 2016. According to a reliable source, Sony pulled the game at the last moment for mysterious reasons.

If previously surfaced rumors are anything to go by, the reveal trailer featured a shootout in a bar and citing the incident that took place in Orlando just ahead of E3; Sony opted not to debut the title at the time. If that's the case, the teaser fans were supposed to see at E3 2016 would be dumped.

This will not be the first time Rockstar will reveal a game at Sony's event. In fact, PlayStation Meeting is now probably the best candidate for the studio's next big announcement.

That being said, PlayStation Meeting won't revolve around "Red Dead Redemption 2" specifically. Sony is also expected to reveal the much-awaited PlayStation 4 Neo, along with PlayStation Vita Trinity and PlayStation 4 Slim, which was recently leaked.

PlayStation 4 Slim will be up for grabs for $299 while the PlayStation 4 Neo will come with a price tag of $399.

In other news, a "RDR 2" deleted teaser image had surfaced online not too long ago, alluding to the possibility of traveling to several Caravans camps and the Great Plains in the highly-anticipated installment of "Red Dead," TrustedReviews reported.

But that's not all; there are also indications of more bodies of water and islands as well with a new map.
