The much awaited World War I themed video game "Battlefield 1" has rolled out its public beta on September 1, but problems also came along with the ride. Fortunately, video game company EA is deploying an update to the game which is making fans excited.

Previous reports stated that the Early Access beta for "Battlefield 1" started on August 21 thru the Battlefield Insider program. The beta was then available to the public on September 1. Since then, the servers were drastically altered with several problems that lasted well over the weekend.

As stated in the official Twitter page of EA Support, the issue did not go to "Battlefield 1" alone, it appears that all the games under EA were hit by the server outage, according to Mobile N' Apps.

EA is currently undergoing server maintenance on all of of the publisher's platforms, games, services and support that may be impacted.

However, if gamers are already on the beta, they just have to wait until the update is installed so they can start playing "Battlefield 1" again.

Anyway, a massive "Battlefield 1" gamers are excited over the publisher's announced update. As it's odd that a video game update is installed on a beta. But, people hit on Twitter and speculated that they might be getting a new map, based on the report of Attack Of The Fanboy.

On the other hand, the "Battlefield 1" outage was suspected to be caused by a hacking group, who apparently took responsibility for the server issues. But, the outage was not the only case for some players, as a handful of gamers are still commenting on the "Battlefield" Twitter account that they are having a hard time getting into the server, Game Spot reported.

"Battlefield 1" will be up for grabs on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 21.
