Video game publisher Activision announced last year that consumers who pre-ordered "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" would be able to access the game's multiplayer beta. The trend is set to continue this year, as the publisher has announced that the upcoming "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will be both a pre-order bonus and a limited time for PlayStation 4 users.

The first access for the game's multiplayer beta for both installments of "Call of Duty" was set to receive first by PlayStation 4 users, based on the report of Destructoid.

The Global Public Relations at Activision, Ali Miller, posted on the PlayStation Blog that Activision couldn't be more thrilled about the news of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," and what it means for their faithful PlayStation fans.

The Infinity Ward crew has been conscientious on the most epic Call of Duty title to date, and the crew can't wait to give it out to the dedicated fans. Due to the eagerness of the guys at Infinity Ward, they decided to roll out a beta for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. The beta will be available on PlayStation 4 in October 14.

As the content of the upcoming first-person shooter video game becomes available, it can only be downloaded from the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" in-game store, and customers should not get it from any other marketplace. If they do get it from the opposite direction, they will be charged twice. The downloadable content (DLC) in the Season Pass may be sold separately, Call of Duty reported.

If a person happen to purchase the Season Pass, it is not necessary to purchase the standalone map packs, or else that person will be charged for the packs.

Activision also made it known that the Beta is not available on PC, maybe for now. However, the video game publisher revealed that Jackal Assault will be offered later this year to Infinite Warfare players on PlaySstation 4 as a free bonus, according to Business Wire.
