Speculations about the cancellation of iPhone 7 launching in September were circulating the internet. Rumors said the revamped was due to the upcoming Sony Xperia XZ and Xperia X which considered as the top competitors of iPhone 7. Following the fall of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and the rise of Sony Xperia models, will the two latest models of iPhone 7 follow the footstep of MacBook Air towards having large flat sales?

The two latest models of Apple iPhone 7 rumored to have gone several redesigns and revamped before turning into what they called final design. Aside from the memory expansion, Mac Rumors reported another redesign made in iPhone 7 with its EarPods. The report claimed that iPhone 7 will incorporate a lightning to headphone jack adapter with its EarPods. This is to alleviate the pain during the transition to a headphone jack-less technology. Some considered it as generous move of the Cupertino-based tech giant company. However, this will come with a price in the amount of $29 for each adapter.

On the other hand, Sony is gearing towards beating Apple unintentionally when they announced their latest smartphones that includes the first Xperia XZ and Xperia X compact model. BGR reported that the two mentioned smartphones were built with top specs and featured an innovative camera built with tricks that nowhere to be seen from the competitors to mention Apple iPhone 7.

The same report said that Sony revealed the most advanced camera features during the IFA 2016. Accordingly, aside from the manual focus and shutter speed, the camera of the two devices was built with triple image sensing technology. This technology comprises of the following: RGBC IR sensor for color sensing, Sony's Exmor RS Technology for Predictive Hybrid AF, autofocus image and high-quality image and Laser AF sensor for long-distance capture. The main camera resolution is 23-megapixel which surpassed the 12-megapixel camera sensor of iPhone 7.

Sony's new devices will be launched separately. Xperia X Compact will be released in September 2 whilst Xperia XZ is slated in October 23.
