This could be bad new to "PLL" fans as "Pretty Little Liars" will end after Season 7. So what to expect in the season finale?

The rumors have been ended. Freeform has officially confirmed that "Pretty Little Liars" will end after Season 7. In a Facebook Live, creator Marlene King and stars Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Lucy Hale, Shay Mitchell and Sasha Pieterse announced this news on Monday, August 29.

"PLL" is currently in the midst of its Season 7. Its the midseason finale aired on Tuesday night, August 30. Meanwhile, the second half of the season, which marks the final 10 episodes will be premiered on April 2017, Variety reported.

The network released a trailer for the final run of the teen drama. In the trailer, it hints a number of developments including Spencer's post-gunshot fate and the identity of A.D, TV Line reported.

"Pretty Little Liars" was premiered in 2010. It is the top show at Freeform, and has become a pop culture phenomenon for teen audiences. Its Facebook official page has 14 million followers, 3.7 million Twitter followers, and 5.8 million Instagram followers.

What will happen in the second half of Season 7?

The summer finale promo revealed someone will be killed and teased some romantic scenes. The promo starts with Hanna Marin saying "Admit that you are A.D." The official Twitter account of "PLL" teases #PLLDeath Trap.

The next scene shows Jenna is holding a gun aiming at the Liars. So the question is, is she the A.D. or just related to A.D. Then the promo ends that someone is struggling.

Spoiler TV revealed that Ed Kerr will return for the season finale as Pastor Ted and Julian Morris returns as Dr. Wren Kingston.
