Samsung, one of the most fearsome tech giants, is expected to launch Galaxy S8 with much improved specs. Here's the speculations roundup

Samsung Galaxy S8 specs: very likely to sport 4K Display

If you notice, Samsung revamps its smartphone every two years. Galaxy S3 sports HD display and S4 starts to use full HD. The latest Quad HD display is in Galaxy S7. Based on this timeframe, the smartphone maker is likely to equip Galaxy S8 with much better display.

And not to forget, the latest rants about Google Daydream VR project which needs a really smart smartphone to function well. That idea hints to Galaxy S8 4K display possibility as it is rumored to be compatible with Google's upcoming VR headset.

Another reason for Samsung to release Galaxy S8 with 4K display is its previous exhibition at the Display Week Conference, San Francisco back in May. Obviously, there were types of displays showcased there but there was a 5.5-inch screen sporting 4K display with 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution. Not only that it offered impressive display, it was placed in the VR area, Upload VR reported. Other predictions include the use of Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 chipset

There was nothing that verified the specs in Galaxy S8 but if rumors are to be true, then we should expect an incredible smartphone quality.

Galaxy X rumor: Samsung bendable phone with bio-blue display to launch with Galaxy S8

Aside from the long-standing rants about Galaxy S8, there is another smartphone codenamed, Galaxy X. This device is rumored to feature bendable screen with 4K display and dual camera. Android Headlines wrote that the company's Project Valley might release the device with Bio Blue 4K display - which reduces the bluelight significantly for the sake of your retina.

A 4K display is already surprising and a foldable phone is even more than that. However, Samsung is fond of utilizing technology to constantly innovate the devices. Thus, it may not be something impossible to achieve.

Until the release date is confirmed in 2017, the rumors are to be taken with a grain of salt.
