The latest installment of Microsoft's Surface Pro series is expected to come along with new features. As the tech company's release of the previous Surface Pro is such a huge success, this makes the launching of Surface Pro 5 the more exhilarating.

As speculations regarding Surface Pro 5's price, specs, and release date came in from different directions containing significant details of the device, one of the things that gadget fans are hoping to perceive is the Surface Pro 5's new resolution display. Rumor has it that the device will have a 2K resolution display, as well as a 4K Ultra high-definition (HD) display.

This will bring better resolution rather than the previous Surface Pro models. Aside from that, the upcoming Surface Pro 5 is going to have a better Surface Pen, based on the report of Ecumenical News.

It has been claimed that Surface Pro 5 will be packed with a 16 gigabyte of RAM, as well as a USB C support. The upcoming device is speculated to run on Windows Redstone 2, that will be unleashed in Spring 2017. The Windows Redstone 2 makes it more likely for the Surface Pro 5 to launch next year.

There is also a word that Pro 5 will be built with Intel's new processor - Kaby Lake, iTechPost reported.

The speculated 2017 launch of the device will give more time for Microsoft to clear any issues out concerning the device's performance. As the tech company wanted to avoid the same problem that Surface Pro 4 experienced regarding the battery life.

However, as the Surface device is carrying the Service Program, authorized distributors can tender the devices with a subscription model. In turn, it enables consumers to acquire the most recent Microsoft devices with fewer upgrade costs, according to Asia Starz.

Surface Pro is said to set the price of $899, and it could reach up to $1599 for the top-end variants.
