"Ash vs Evil Dead" Season 2 continues teasing its return on TV. A series of photos of the upcoming season surfaces online.

As "Ash vs Evil Dead" Season 2 is about to air, more photos of the series surface online. First, the patriotic images of the cast members, Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams, Lucy Lawless as Ruby, Dana DeLorenzo as Kelly, and Ray Santiago as Pablo. In the photo shared by Bloody Disgusting, Ash flaunts his chainsaw, while the rest of the cast members are in a salute pose.

Then another set of photos appeared online. It features photos of the recurring cast members, and the new characters, Chet Kaminski (Ted Raimi), Linda B. (Michelle Hurd), Baal (Joel Tobeck) and Ash's father, Brock Williams (Lee Majors).Check the photos here.

In the trailer, Ash is leaving his dream retirement home in Jacksonville as he needs to go back to his hometown in Elk Grove, Michigan. Michelle Hurd, Ash's former highschool sweetheart, along Ash's father, Brock, and Chet Kaminski (Ted Raimi), Ash's best friend, will be introduced in Season 2, according to Coming Soon. Ash will confront his former enemy Ruby as they need to team up because Elk Grove becomes "nucleus of evil."

Season 2 is set for 10 half-hour episodes with an extended episode starting October. "Ash vs Evil Dead" Season 2 is set to air on Sunday, Oct. 2. 8 PM ET.

Sam Raimi serves as executive producer with Rob Tapert. Bruce Campbell and Ivan Raimi Sam served as a director of 1987 "Evil Dead II," which was the inspiration of "Ash vs. Evil Dead," and "Drag Me to Hell." Tapert along Michael Hurst directed the 1995 TV series, "Xena: Warrior Princess," where Lawless portrayed the warrior princess , Xena.
