‘Minecraft's’ Revamp On The Way Redstone Works; Pocket ‘Minecraft’ Finally Has Oculus Rift Support
ByMojang, developer of the sandbox video game "Minecraft," made it widely known that they are giving a new and improved form to the way redstone works on Minecraft Pocket and Windows 10 Edition.
The 'Minecraft' developer is trying to simplify the unusual features of redstone without compromising on the power, as gamers of "Minecraft" found a bug and dubbed it as a feature called quasi-connectivity.
But, before the Mojang team will repair the issue, the "Minecraft" community showed the potential of the bug, it can use to build flying machines, automatic farming contraptions and so much more, based on the report of MS Power User.
However, quasi-connectivity is a bug, but this bug became so useful to "Minecraft" gamers in which it became a feature. In the PC edition of Minecraft, from a distance of two blocks which are placed in a very specific diagonal position, pistons will be given a redstone power.
In spite of that, blocks only get updated when something will make a difference to adjacent blocks. It means that a "Minecraft" players can power a piston and then take off the power without the piston identifying it, according to Mojang.
Instead of patching up the bug, Mojang team is bringing this distinctive attribute to Minecraft Pocket Edition. In which the developer is introducing a new feature called the Observer block. The feature will examine the changes in the environment, and if this feature will be prompted, it switches between emitting an unpowered state and a strong signal. Also, pistons will now have the capability to push chests and many other things.
On the other hand, Pocket Minecraft officially has Oculus Rift support. The Oculus Rift support may sound great news for Windows 10 PC gamers as the VR headset is now compatible with that Minecraft version. But, mobile gamers may find this frustrating.
The Oculus Rift support is exclusive to Windows 10 installed PCs and currently playing on the new Windows 10 edition of Minecraft, Neuro Gadget reported.
