In spite of the fact that Sony moved over 40 million PlayStation 4 game consoles, the multinational conglomerate corporation got their hopes up that a player is all set for at least one of two new PS4 consoles currently in the making.

With intentions to attract more casual users, Sony is anticipated to launch a low-priced "PlayStation 4" and high-end consoles next month, according to The Wall Street Journal.

First, the "PlayStation 4 Slim," which will have have the same specifications as the existing PlayStation 4, but a thinner version. However, as the tech company is yet to announce the slimmer version, it has been said that at least one gamer in the UK already has one.

Sony has been known of slimming its PlayStation consoles, which it started from the original version through the "PlayStation 3." This would mean the first form factor change for the "PlayStation 4" since it was released back in 2013, based on the report of Business Insider.

The other 'PlayStation 4" in the works is dubbed as "Neo," in which this console is capable of powering the ultra high-definition 4K gaming.

On the other hand, Sony made it known that "PlayStation Now" game streaming is making its way to PCs. The tech company asserted that PS Now will be up for grabs in parts of Europe soon and shortly thereafter, it will come to North America.

If a person plans to partake in the service on their desktop, Sony recommended some PC specs such as Windows 7, 8.1 or 10; 3.5 GHz Intel Core i3 or 3.8 GHz AMD A10 or much faster; 2 gigabyte or more of RAM; Sound card; and USB port, The Verge reported.

As part of Sony's announcement, the tech company also made it known a new wireless USB adaptor to connect a DualShock 4 controller to a Mac or PC. As a player will need a DualShock 4 controller to play on Windows, the tool will be available next month for only $24.99.
