'The Young And The Restless' [Y&R] Spoilers: Jerry Douglas' Ghost Makes Comeback; Victor Finds Way To Free Adam
By"The Young and the Restless" will see the comeback of Jerry Douglas who will be visiting Genoa City. Angell Cowell will also be appearing along with David Faustino who is believed to bring trouble.
"The Young and the Restless" teaser revealed that John Abbott's ghost will appear to his son Jack. Most recently, Jack and Ashley were thinking about their father and wish they he would visit them again as they need his advice, CBS Soaps In Depth reported. Since their father died, his ghost had been appearing at times when they need his wisdom. It seems that the children need to hold on and wait a bit longer.
Douglas, 83, started portraying the role of the Abbott patriarch in 1982. His last appearance on "The Young and the Restless" was in 2006. His image had re-appeared on the show for multiple times as Jack's conscience.
Meanwhile, it has also been revealed that Cowell will be portraying a lawyer named Leslie Michaelson in "The Young and the Restless." As Victor Newman finds way to free his son Adam Newman, he will be needing a lawyer for assistance. So, he turned to Leslie and luckily, Adam's murder charge will be lifted but he will still be facing an assault charge as revealed in the show's teasers.
Another new face to see in the upcoming episode of "The Young and the Restless" is the new character named Howard Green. The role will be played by Married With Children star Faustino. Howard is suggested to be the person behind Genoa City's GC Buzz, the local tabloid, which does not sound that good for some of the powerful residents, Hollywood Hills reported.
"The Young and the Restless" will see the appearance of Douglas on Sept. 26 while Faustino's first appearance would be on Sept. 27. The show airs daily at 12:30 p.m. on CBS. Watch the "The Young and The Restless" Aug. 23 video here.
