"The Blacklist" Season 4 will reportedly uncover the truth behind Alexander Kirk's real identity. Kirk is suggestedly not the real father of Elizabeth Keen (Liz) as revealed by Red's investigation in the previous season. Liz, on the other hand, has gone missing and it seemed that she was captured by force, which Red will have to figure out in "The Blacklist" Season 4.

If Red's evidences are to be believed, it may be established that Kirk is not the real father of Liz. However, there is always a reason to doubt the master criminal. In relation to this revelation, "The Blacklist" Season 4 creator Jon Bokenkamp said that Kirk's relationship with Liz will give a deeper understanding of Red's connection to Liz.

"The Blacklist" Season 4 series producer John Eisendrath promised that the story for next year and in the coming years would incorporate all the things that viewers would point to and add up on Kirk's side of the ledger. This, however, only includes those points that might discount Kirk's story about being Liz' father in "The Blacklist" season 4, Netflix Life Reported.

Meanwhile, Liz is in grave danger in "The Blacklist" Season 4, however, she does not need Red to save her, reportedly. To recall, Tom returned to Liz's apartment only to find out broken glasses everywhere without signs of his fiance.

Red and Mr. Kaplan, while on their way to supposedly take down Kirk and his associates, also discovered that Liz was abducted. To make things even worse, Tom and Agnes were also captured by one of Kirk's men after a struggle in the apartment.

"The Blacklist" Season 4, according to Bokenkamp, will feature turns, surprises, identity and secrets, Entertainment Weekly reported. He added that they intend to incorporate a lot of fun with the complexity of the situations that the characters had to face.

"The Blacklist" Season 4 show is set to air on NBC, Sept. 22 at 10 p.m. ET. Watch "The Blacklist" Season 4 trailer here.
