This week, Multiple Grammy Award-winning singer confirmed she turned down an offer to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime 2017. But according to NFL, they never gave an official offer to the singer, according to Fox.

On Saturday, August 13, the British singer had a Los Angeles concert, and she announced that she was asked to perform at the yearly event.

"First of all, I'm not doing the Super Bowl," Adele said. "I mean, come on, that show is not about music, she added.

After her announcement made headlines from different publications, NFL and its halftime show sponsor, Pepsi told Billboard on Sunday, August 14, that there is no formal offer to her.

Super Bowl is one of the yearly anticipate events. It is the annual championship game of the National Football League (NFL). Aside from the sports event, people are also looking forward to the performers who will appear at the Halftime.

The performers appeared at 2016 Super Bowl 2016 Halftime Show live were Beyonce, Bruno Mars, and Coldplay. The British rock band started the show with their hit single "Viva La Vida," then Bruno Mars hit the stage with his smash hit song, "Uptown Funk," then Beyonce and her dancers appeared after Mars finished his song, and she performed her song "Formation."
