A reliable source expects the Apple Inc. to add three iPad models to the iPad lineup in 2017, which includes a new 10.5-inch "iPad Pro." While the revolutionary changes such as a radically redesigned chassis and AMOLED panel are slated for 2018.

The analyst for KGI Securities - Ming-Chi Kuo, made it known to the public that iPad will likely follow a conservative hardware evolution next year, with the tech giant gearing up for the three next-generation models which is largely similar in design to previous models.

The analyst asserted that along with the 12.9-inch "iPad Pro 2," the Cupertino based company will introduce a new 10.5-inch variant with a price above the low-cost version of the 9.7-inch iPad. Where 12.9-in "iPad Pro 2"and 10.5-in Pro will be powered by the A10X processor, with TSMC being the sole supplier using 10nm process technology, according to Mac Rumors.

Kuo put forward for consideration that the tech company's 10.5-inch "iPad Pro" will be the alternative to the venerable 9.7-inch form factor. But, the low-cost 9.7-inch iPad will carry over the A9X processor next year - which is also manufactured by the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC).

Currently, the 9.7-inch Pro flagship runs the A9X, which means the next-generation model will upgrade to an A10X, and debut in early 2018, based on the report of Apple Insider.

As a further matter, it has been asserted that Apple is predicted to unleash a new revolutionary iPad model, but that won't happen until 2018 at the earliest. The said prediction claimed the new iPad model will show off a flexible AMOLED screen, along with the radical upgrades to the form factor and the user experience.

The AMOLED iPad is claimed to walk down the line of the iPhone, and that the upcoming iPhone will be first to have a distinctive attribute of an AMOLED screen, Mac World reported.
