In the midst of the excitement over the game's arrival, rumor mills have been swirling speculations around its storyline, characters and new locations.
Bandai Namco reportedly sparked the excitement - even of those Westerner fans - by giving the Black Goku its stamp of approval in the upcoming sequel dubbed, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."
The English trailer for the much-awaited game has been released, giving fans an overview of what they can anticipate from the game; for instance, the customized Ki blasts, according to reports on Yibada.
Aside from Black Goku, reports doing rounds tease an array of other monsters including Android 16, Imperfect Cell, Turles and Janemba, Zarbon, Dodoria and Time Breaker Bardock that are likely to make an appearance in the game.
Likely to fuel more excitement in to the game's huge fanbase, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is rumored to offer a transformation dubbed, "A Giant Namekian," a.k.a. Great Namek. This transformation will reportedly benefit the Namekians in crushing their opponents, particularly those smaller in sizes.
Apart from this, fans are also excited about the game's backdrop dubbed as Canton City. This new Hub will be seven times bigger as compared to the one featured in the current "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" game, Movie News Guide reported.
But that's not all; the upcoming game is expected to encompass new locations, such as the Capsule Corporation and the spaceship of Namek and Frieza, which will, without-a-doubt, offer gamers more places to delve into, in addition to the Time Nest and Toki Toki City.
In other news, Bandai Namcom invited fans to join them for their live-stream on Thursday, August 11 as the studio showed off "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" and "Pac-Man Championship Edition 2."
But the fun didn't end there; Bandai Namco also announced on its official Facebook page that it will be giving away prizes including " Collector's Edition of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," "Pac-Man Ghostly Adventures," "Play Anime Boxes," and "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is slated to hit the store shelves on October 25 in the U.S. for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and will be released worldwide on October 28.
