As Samsung has been swarmed with criticisms in the past for not updating its Android devices, the technology company appeared to be looking to change that starting with the "Galaxy Note 7."

Koh Dongjin, Samsung Mobile President, stated that the firm intends to update its gadgets to Android 7.0 Nougat within the next two to three months. An update before 2016 ends would be a new speed record for the tech company, even though not all versions will likely acquire the update at the same time, according to Korea Times.

Thus, the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Note 7 is very important, as it is a major selling point for the smartphone. But, the reason why the update will be months away, is that Dongjin made it known that the tech company aimed for quality rather than giving faster release of the new OS.

Koh also firmly established earlier reports that Samsung was considering initiating the Note 7 in China with 128 gigabyte of storage, which would double up the capacity of other markets, based on the report of CNET.

This is for the reason that Chinese handset makers are pushing for aggressive marketing strategies by unleashing smartphones with high storage capacity. Dongjin stated that they will continue to accept a variety of needs from each marketplace, and make a response by releasing localized products by changing memory capacity or color.

However, "Galaxy Note 7" carries Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and a distinctive attribute of a 5.7 inch Quad high-definition (HD) dual-edge SuperAmoled display of 1440x2560 pixel resolution - in which that feature is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

"Galaxy Note 7" is said to include a fingerprint sensor and an iris scanner. In India, the latest smartphone comes with an octa-core Exynos processor and packed with 4GB RAM, Economic Times reported.

The Note 7 will be up for grabs for the price of $897 and comes in three colors, such as silver titanium, blue coral and gold platinum. Samsung also aims to add up black onyx around October.
