After the major updates to its apps on both Android and iOS was unleashed back in May, the internet services company eBay has just updated its apps again to bring in more useful features.

For Android users, the latest update of eBay brings along support for the company's new "One-Time Password" login method as well as a full Android Wear application.

While Android Wear users have a means of entry to the basic eBay functions on their devices, this new eBay application provides more details within the notification stream of Google's Android operating system, according to 9 To 5 Google.

The update will let users see the title and the price of the item, an image of the item, and also the remaining time on the listing. Besides that, users can also read and send messages between eBay members directly from the watch, in which it enables an easy and quick reply.

Nate Carrier, eBay's Senior Product Manager, stated that with their last update, they took up Android's material design standards, making the app more natural for Android devices.

Carrier also said that by introducing support for Android Wear, the company is building on its commitment to the Android ecosystem, which enables a more seamless shopping experience across all types of devices.

The senior director of mobile and accessibility at eBay - Mrinalini Loew, said in a statement that as they increased the pace of innovation and mobile updates, they have quickly responded to the user feedback, in a way to continue to make the mobile apps for both iOS and Android better for each user, Adweek reported.

However, Android Wear device's Together watch face will be going away with Android Wear 2.0. As many of the best distinctive attributes of Together will be integrated directly into the platform. But, Google isn't terminating some of the features of Together, according to PC Mag.
