We have collected the scattered rumors about the upcoming Macbook Pro 2016 and here's the result!

Macbook Pro 2016 rumor on specs

Previously, Macbook Pro superfans were excited about the OLED touchbar that might equip Apple's laptop. However, recent speculations break down many reasons why it won't likely to happen. One of them stated that the presence of OLED touchbar would cost Macbook Pro 2016 a huge fortune.

Moreover, the idea to replace the physical function key might need Apple to have major upgrade under the hood. This is why tech analysts are skeptical about OLED touchbar concept. The concept does make a stellar addition; but apparently, too good to be true.

Other enhancements include four ports of USB type C and Touch ID fingerprint sensor for advanced security. It will sport 2304 x 1440 display resolutions with slimmer design. Analysts have also speculated that Apple will remove the 3.5 mm audio jack from Macbook Pro 2016 and switch to lightning port.

Macbook Pro 2016 performance speculation

Intel has just started to send Kabylake processors to manufacturing partners. If Macbook Pro 2016 will arrive sometime in November this year, it is unlikely to have the 7th generation core chip. With this in mind, the possible processor to equip the upcoming Macbook Pro will be Skylake, Macworld reported.

This can also mean that Surface Pro 5 will be ahead of Macbook Pro 2016 in term of performance since the rumored Microsoft's hybrid laptop will get Kaby Lake in its 2017 release. Kaby Lake is said to give the device faster performance and longer battery life.

It is rumored to have options of 2K or 4K display with possible resolutions of 3,840 x 2,560; whilst the Macbook Pro 2016 options could be limited to the screen size variants, either 13 inch or 15 inch - with retina screen of 2304 x 1440 resolutions. The specs of both devices are only speculations to consider before deciding which laptop to choose.

Macbook Pro 2016 release date

Apple should unveil Macbook Pro 2016 in November after revealing the iPhone 7 series in September.
