As the Windows 10 Anniversary Update was tossed up this week, it brought along tons of new features and enhancement to the operating system.

The transition to the Windows 10 Anniversary Update appears to have been a successful one, with very few reported issues and difficult situations.

As people look beyond the Windows update, it has been reported that Microsoft Corporation is in the process of making plans for two sizable updates for the next year in the form of Redstone 2 and Redstone 3, according to Windows Central.

The first major update of the tech company for 2017, which is dubbed as Redstone 2, will unleash in early 2017. The second major update slated for 2017 that the company codenamed it as Redstone 3, is being targeted to launch in summer or early fall 2017.

However, to get a person's Android notification to show up on their PC, first, that person needs to put down their computer, pick up their phone and install Microsoft's free Cortana app for Android.

Then open the app, sign into the same Microsoft account they use to sign into their Win 10 PC, tick the menu button at the top left, and then tap Settings.

After Settings, tap sync notifications on that screen, and that person can choose what Android alerts will pop up on their computer, after agreeing to allow this version of Microsoft's personal assistant access to various types of data on their phone, based on the report of USA Today.

But, as Windows 10 is no longer available for a free upgrade for users running Windows 7 or Windows 8, Anniversary Update is not seismically contrasting to its predecessor, Express reported.

Windows 10 is a stunning operating system, brilliantly blends with the tablet-focused principles of Windows 8 and with the unbeaten mouse and keyboard utility of Windows 7.
