Square Enix recently launched an episodic role-playing video game called "Mobius Final Fantasy" and is now available on iPad, iPhone, as well as other Android devices.

The Japanese video game developer stated that the Mobius video game is custom-tailored for mobile platforms, based on the report of Mac Rumors.

Some of the team behind the video game includes producer Yoshinori Kitase and writer Kazushige Nojima, - who wrote the "Final Fantasy X" and the best-selling game in the series "Final Fantasy VII."

Just like with most games in the Final Fantasy series, "Mobius Final Fantasy" is a role-playing game (RPG) with in-depth character customization options and a turn-based battle system and clearly defined for mobile devices.

The video game company made it known that the video game's character personalization options was based from the job system, a mechanic seen in the existing Final Fantasy entries. The option will let players specialize in a specific area of expertise to combine it with different classes with specific knowledge of elemental abilities and gain an advantage against enemies in battle.

The story of "Mobius Final Fantasy" is separated into chapters, with each release is tag along with grand in-game events, and it will introduce a new playable content and customization options for the gamer's character, according to Phone Arena.

The video game will involve a highly tactical challenge where every action flows into the next. Gamers chain attacks and abilities in a rhythmic flow, will bring a destruction of their enemies.

Producer Kitase stated that when they started the development for Mobius, the producer thought about how they would be able to create a mobile app worthy of the Final Fantasy series. And the answer that they came up with was the story of Mobius, The Verge reported.
