As Apple is expected to release the "iPhone 7," the successor of the device dubbed as "iPhone 7 Plus" leaked online.
Unbox Therapy, one of YouTube's most famous channels with over 5 million subscribers, has obtained the best view of what the upcoming 7 Plus will look like. The device is also rumored to be dubbed as "iPhone 7 Pro."
In a detailed hands-on prototype, all the major hardware changes of the unit can be seen. The device features a radical dual lens camera, twin external speakers, the missing headphone jack of "iPhone 7," as well as the inclusion of a Smart Connector and the widely known new blue color option, according to Forbes.
The host of the YouTube channel also found the new "iPhone 7 Plus" to be fractionally slimmer compared to the current 6S Plus. But, it stand that the Plus version of the iPhone is still massive and stays the largest 5.5-inch smartphone in the world.
The button placements of 7 and 7 Plus all look the same, except the speculated deletion of the mute toggle switch seems to be untrue. The mute toggle switch will remain if this prototype is good to be true.
As the other major change of the 7 Plus is the blue color. There have been circulating reports of a Midnight Blue or possibly a black color, but until now no one has actually seen either color on a dummy or even a prototype device, based on the report of Techaeris.
However, whether or not the next generation "iPhone 7" and "iPhone 7 Plus" will be featured in deep blue, people can at least state conclusively that the new color of the device would look fantastic, BGR reported.
And while what people are looking at is absolutely a mock-up, it's still believable, even though individuals are not totally sold on why dummy devices exist in the first place when it comes to gadgets of Apple Inc., according to The Next Web.
