After the action role-playing game "Kingdom Hearts 3" was announced at E3 2013, fans have been clamoring for more information regarding the upcoming entry in the Disney centric action RPG franchise.

The creators of the role-playing game have been silent when it comes to the sequel's current state in the development process.

But, the co-director for both "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" and "Kingdom Hearts 3" - Tai Yasue, dropped by at GamesBeat to talk about the evolution of the video game series, details about enhancing "Kingdom Hearts 3's" combat and magic, and the reason why the third entry in the franchise didn't show off during E3 2016, according to Game Rant.

Interestingly, the topic of the interview was about the developers experimenting with the series' battle system, and the co-director was asked what works best for the franchise as a whole. Yasue stated that the magical points system has worked well.

Yasue also said that they don't want to do the same thing in the game over and over again. As in "Kingdom Hearts III" and 0.2, they wanted to enhance the game system for the next generation.

The co-director added that if a player will use magical spells, they wanted the environments and enemies to react in a meaningful way. And if a player will shoot a Blizzard, it creates a place where a gamer can skate on the ground. They wanted the magic to dynamically get along with the environments.

However, the co-director of "Kingdom Hearts 3" suggested that players should play all the previous games before, but it's not necessary to enjoy the game, based on the report of IDigital Times.

And as the video game is currently in development, Square Enix (the publisher of the game) has yet to announce an official release date. But, the game is expected to hit PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
