"Once Upon A Time" Season 6 will follow Disney's Aladdin storyline with the "Galavant" star Karen David, who will play as Princess Jasmine. Deniz Akdeniz who will play Aladdin and Oded Fehr who will play Jafar will also be joining the new season of the series.

Aladdin is suggested to be a savior like Emma. In the "Once Upon A Time" Season 6 trailer shown at the San Diego Comic Con, Jafar was featured saying some things to Aladdin, which seemed to be not thrilling to hear. Jasmine was not seen in the teaser though.

"Once Upon A Time" Season 6 has also started casting for Sinbad and Scheherazade from "One Thousand and One Nights." The Greek god of dreams, Morpheus and the Count of Monte Cristo from Alexandre Dumas' novel will also be making an appearance in the next season. Giles Matthey and Craig Horner will play the roles respectively.

Adam Horowitz, producer of the series, said that the paradigm for what "Once Upon A Time" Season 6 will be is a little bit different than what they have done in the last few years, PopSugar reported. Horowitz said that it involves the main group of characters, Storybrooke and a flashback to other realms, which makes it both a little something old and something new.

"Once Upon A Time" Season 6 will also see the return of the Evil Queen. While Regina thinks she has gotten rid of her inner demon when she crushed the Evil Queen's heart, her plan completely rebounds. The Evil Queen is not only alive and well, but she grew a strong thirst of vengeance on herself.

Meanwhile, the season finale introduced the viewers to Jekyll and Hyde from the novella "Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde." It also revealed that a number of characters from the "Land of Untold Stories" will be in town to stir up some trouble in the upcoming "Once Upon A Time" Season 6.

"Once Upon A Time" Season 6 will return after the shocking finale of season 5 on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 8/7c, ABC reported. Watch trailer here.
