While Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is just a couple of weeks away from its launch, an array of awe-inspiring features about the much-awaited smartphone have surfaced online.

If reports from several online tech publications are anything to go by, the Galaxy Note 7 will boast one of the most beneficial tools from the Samsung's top smartphones.

Recently-surfaced photos hint the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will pack an always-on display, which basically imply users will be able to see information such as time, date as well as other notifications even when the smartphone is switched off.

The leaked photos gives a sneak peek at what looks like a working Note 7 featuring the same low-light AMOLED display, demonstrating the always-on display. The photos surfaced on Dutch website TechTastic.

This method enables users to stay updated with important alerts without utilizing a great deal of battery life. The feature was previously included in the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, as well as LG's latest G5 device.

Rumors are also running rampant that the Galaxy Note 7 will pack USB-C connectivity. This means the smartphone will not only be able to charge much faster but also more efficiently as compared to previous devices. On the flip side, this also implies users will now need a new charger, which Samsung should provide though.

The leaks come just days ahead of Galaxy Note 7's scheduled August 2nd release date.

Taking previous reports as guide, the Galaxy Note 7 is expected to come with a 5.7-inch curved Quad-HD screen, and pack either the recently announced Snapdragon 821 processor or the company's own Exynos octa-core processor, and boast at least 6 GB of RAM coupled with a mammoth 128 GB of storage, Express reported.

In addition, Galaxy Note 7 will reportedly pack a built-in iris-scanner to facilitate biometric unlocking of the device, meaning added security to the device.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will also pack an array of exciting new apps including Speaking services that will allow users to translate words from one language to another within the snap of a finger. The device will also boast a new Dictionary and debut a text-to-speech functionality.

Moreover, judging by the benchmarking tests on a suspected prototype that revealed it supported "Android 6.1," it looks like the Galaxy Note 7 will run a completely new version of Android.
