Looks like a good news for PS4 gamers waiting with bated breath to play "Rise of the Tomb Raider" on their consoles; an Italian website appears to have spilled the beans about the release date of the game's PlayStation version.

PS4 players may soon be able to enjoy the same "Rise of the Tomb Raider" gameplay that several Xbox One gamers have already experienced. According to the Italian GameStop website, October 11 is the release date for the PS4 version of the hit action-adventure game. The game leak was shared by NeoGAF (user piccio_ssl), IGN reported.

The aforementioned game listing comprised of an image of the game title's PS4 box image and a slew of in-game shots.

The hit sequel to the 2013 game, "Tomb Raider," has been priced at €70.98 (about $78.51) in the aforestated Italian website. The game's product listing posted on Amazon on the other hand; shows a price point of $60.

The PS4 version of "Rise of the Tomb Raider" is comparatively expensive than its Xbox One equivalent which is priced at Amazon for $40 right now.

The Amazon product listing for the game's PS4 version hint at a December 30 release date, however, speculations hinted a December release date as a probable placeholder date for the title.

Square Enix took the wraps off the game that feature adventurer Lara Croft in November last year on Xbox One consoles. A PC version eventually surfaced in January. An upcoming PS4 version was reported earlier, but the release date has yet to be announced.

The PS4 game release date leak echoes a previous statement made by Crystal Dynamics. The game developer revealed in the Square Enix forums in late June that the game will make an appearance sometime during the year's holiday period, PlayStationLifeStyle.net reported. However, the company remained mum about the game's exact release date.

Both Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix have neither confirmed nor denied the game's leaked October PS4 version release date.

Until the confirmation comes from the team behind the hit game, fans are recommended to take these rumors with a grain of salt.
