Even though there is no official confirmation yet, "Mortal Kombat X" is hinted by co-creator Ed Boon to have another DLC.

The co-creator of "Mortal Kombat", Ed Boon, hinted multiple times the future release of the next DLC for "Mortal Kombat X". The first pack was just released in full and now fans can expect the second part to be out soon. The new pack should include new characters.

In the past, NetherRealm had some good choices of characters included in their DLC such as Predator, Freddy Krueger, and Jason Voorhees. In the next DLC release, it is possible that Spawn would be included. There are also possibilities that NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. will include some of the most requested character like Fujin, Noob Saibot, Kabal, Bo' Rai Cho, and the cyber ninjas Sektor, Cyrax and Smoke, Primagames reported.

Ed Boon, Mortal Kombat's co-creator, teases a lot on his twitter account. He even gives out details sometimes. His latest tease came in a form of poll asking fans about what they wanted to see next. These poll seems to hint future plans, according to Attack of the Fanboy.

The tweet that Ed Boon posted was a simple question: "Next?" which is followed by choices for a poll that includes "Kombat Pack 3", "Mortal Kombat 11", and a sequel for the "Shaolin Monks". There are 13,020 in total with 44 per cent going in for Kombat Pack 3 and 25 per cent for MK11. Sholin Monks earned 31 per cent of the votes.

The co-creator of "Mortal Kombat" simply loves talking about his projects which leads into teasers for the upcoming releases. He was also teasing about Injustice 2 and he was promoting the game a bit.

During the latest interview in PlayStation's Blogcast, Ed Boon promoted Injustice 2 and hinted lightly about the coming Mortal Kombat DLC.
