Samsung will be skipping the awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 6 so that they can bring in the Galaxy Note 7.

Samsung announced the release of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge earlier this year. In connection to this, Samsung will skip the Galaxy Note 6 to bring the phablet flagship in line with the S series, the Samsung's smartphone family.

Samsung will be manufacturing the Galaxy Note 7 with similar design to the Samsung Galaxy S7. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will having a new curve edge in place of the Note phablets' flat design. The Galaxy Note 7 will be a larger device than the phones S7 and S7 Edge. The new Galaxy Note 7 phablet will also come with a Samsung S Pen stylus, PC Advisor reported.

There are some speculations and rumors that the new Galaxy note will be called Note7 because it does not have a gap in the S7 between the S and the 7.

The new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will reportedly come with a new feature -biometric. The new phablet will include an iris scanner. If the leaked information is true, the new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 can be unlocked using the eyes. However, the Galaxy series takes cues from Samsung's s series and adds a bigger screen and a stylus. This new feature is a surprise to the phablet series, Techradar reported.

The iris scanning was first tested on Microsoft's Lumnia 950. The team behind the ZTE Axon 7 was asked why they did not include the iris scanning feature on the ZTE Grand S3, they said that phone technology is not practical for iris scanning.

This will be the biggest obstacle the Samsung Galaxy Note will be facing. Iris scanning is a very good trick but users does not want to have another worthless idea just like the feature in Samsung Galaxy S5 which is the eye-controlled smart scroll.
